On the Way, Week 7

Red Apple Rest. A throwback to another era - when families motored to the mountains for summer vacation. There was no highway. There was "the quickway" - route 17 through Rockland, Orange and Sullivan counties of New York's Catskills and the beautiful Hudson River Valley. A place for cars and buses to stop, have an ice cream, drop a quarter in the table side jukebox. It has been abandoned for years and now condemned. The Red Apple needs me - it needs us. C'mon back.
